What do we do?
Welcome to the Jean Tyson Child Development Study Center (JTCDSC) blog. Our blog aims to illustrate for families, friends, and colleagues our commitment to developmentally appropriate practice, the potential of children, and the dedication of our educators. The JTCDSC is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, and maintains practices that are recommended by years of early childhood developmental research. We serve children 8 weeks to 5 years old, work in collaboration with University of Arkansas faculty to help train pre-service teachers, and contribute to the field of early childhood research by hosting researching from across the University of Arkansas campus. We are excited to share our work!
